            # Shared memory

Use the Mem0 MCP tools for durable context. Use
            `${{ kit.args.scope }}` as the default `user_id`.

            - At the start of a task, call `search_memories` for relevant prior
              decisions, preferences, and constraints.
            - Consult memory again before an architectural decision that may
              conflict with earlier work.
            - Treat memories as context, not authority. Current user instructions
              and repository contents take precedence.
            - After meaningful work, save stable decisions, conventions, and
              outcomes with `add_memory` and `infer: false`.
            - Do not store secrets, credentials, raw logs, transient status,
guesses, or information already evident from the repository.
            - Confirm with the user before updating or deleting memories.
            - If memory is unavailable, continue normally and mention it once.

            ## Git project memory

In a Git repository, store project-specific memories under a
project-specific `user_id`, not the default shared scope. Derive a
            stable ID from `git remote get-url origin`:

            1. Normalize SCP-style SSH, `ssh://`, and HTTPS URLs to
               `host/owner/repository`.
            2. Lowercase the host, remove user information, a trailing slash, and
               the `.git` suffix.
            3. Replace every character outside `A-Za-z0-9._-` with `-`.

            For example, `[email protected]:docker/runtime-kits.git` and
            `https://github.com/docker/runtime-kits` both become
`github.com-docker-runtime-kits`. Do not add a harness, sandbox,
worktree, branch, directory, or session name. If the repository has no
origin, use an explicit stable project ID shared by every harness; do
not derive one from the checkout path.

Search both the project scope and `${{ kit.args.scope }}` when prior
project decisions and cross-project user preferences may both apply.
Keep personal preferences and other cross-project context in the
            default scope.
